I love this chandelier, its a real twist on having a glasss of wine. It would be just lovely in a Wine Bar.

I just love the rich warm tones of the timber in this Alder Shaker kitchen. The floor tiles are porcelain and again are a warm cream. The warm tones are enhanced by the use of the orange and cream tiled splashback.
Its a really functional family kitchen. I love the unusual lighting in the kickboard - they come in white as seen or in blue, they are LED lights and as such don’t cost a lot to run.

I just love this item, designer Jason Taylor has developed an entire series of seating that appear to be oversized scrubbers and brushes. among his many designs, taylor has put considerable effort into developing these bristle-ly pieces. The whole series appears to be surreal in that they are oversized versions of actual scrubbers, making us believe that in addition to sitting on, the pieces could also give your floors a bit of a sweep. It really is putting an everyday item in a complete different context.
Jason has designed a number of quirky items and both exhibits and works on commissions.
The complete series can be found at http://www.jasontaylor.co.uk

Among the exhibitors is Design Classics Direct.
I really admire and like the French style of interior and furniture. I have included two photos of typical French interiors and the third photo is from the Next Directory, but the accessories would fit in easily in a French style interior.

Painted furniture and white cotton bedlinen are typical in French interiors, as are stonework.

Ironwork beds can also be found in French style interiors, again there is stonework.

These accessories from the Next Directory would fit in well in an French style interior, the Clock and the dress stand in particular!
Well after a lot of planning we have finally added a shop, rebranded from pedreschi.ie to harmony design studio.ie and the new site was launched yesterday evening. All the old posts have been added to the new site but all the comments have been lost.
There is the facility to purchase handmade functional art through the shop via paypal or to download the pdf order form and post it together with a cheque or postal order.

This is a sample of what is on offer at the shop, commissions are also taken if you have a design or colour scheme in mind to fit into your interior space.
We could all do with a lift at the moment and what better way than to bring a little colour into our homes. Next have just released their new catalogue which has colourful throws and cushions that can help brighten up our interiors for very little expense. Colour has an effect on our moods and this is expressed by the very saying “feeling blue”. So put a little colour in your life and lift up your spirits.
Springtime is here, this is really a play on words, because its the title of this piece of art. It’s one of my creations which I gave to someone for Christmas and they really appreciated it.
Another piece which I gave as a present was titled Time & Tide, for obvious reasons. All my pieces which contain a working clock have a title which contains the word time, this is something that I have done consistently since I started selling and exhibiting my timepieces.
